WOMEN IN ECONOMICS

The CWRU Women in Economics Club (or WE) looks to support women as well as other under-represented minority students in economics through community, mentorship, speakers, and collaboration. WE was created by undergraduate Beth Canel, as well as Economics Researcher and Professor Jenny Hawkins, who wanted to increase women's interest in the field of economics, and unite female students who study Economics. Traditionally economics is a male dominated field but WE looks to knock down those barriers, and create a space for feminine voices to be heard.
